The Line-frequency induction copper melting furnace is expertly engineered for the efficient melting of bronze, brass, and a variety of other copper alloys. When integrated with complementary machinery, it forms a seamless production line, essential for crafting copper rods, tubes, strips, and more. These premium products are pivotal in diverse industries such as electric wiring, cable production, electronics, lock manufacturing, water heating technology, and the cooling sector.

Structure and Components

The induction furnace is a sophisticated assembly of critical components: a robust furnace shell, durable refractory lining, insulating and refractory bricks, a magnetic iron core, precision induction coil, efficient water jacket, and a state-of-the-art power cabinet.

Working Principle

The power frequency melting and holding furnace harnesses the transformative power of electromagnetic induction. When AC voltage is applied, the induction coil generates a dynamic magnetic field, inducing current within the core material. This creates a closed magnetic circuit, often using high-quality silicon steel sheets like Z10. The resulting alternating magnetic flux induces an electromotive force in the melting channel, generating secondary currents. These currents interact with the metal's resistance, expertly converting electrical energy into heat energy, facilitating the efficient melting of the metal.

Furnace Design and Features

The furnace's advanced design includes the furnace body and frame, inductor, and hydraulic system, with a horizontally designed melting channel inside the inductor. It boasts a hydraulic tilt mechanism on both ends, ensuring seamless and secure mold changes within the crystallizer for optimal operation.

The entire furnace construction combines the resilience of quartz sand with precision firebrick masonry. During the meticulous assembly process, the crystallizer is precisely aligned with the single-hole furnace mouth, effectively preventing any misalignment or reconstruction issues, thereby enhancing operational continuity.

Furnace Components and Water Cooling System

The furnace's front features expertly crafted door bricks, mouth bricks, sophisticated crystallizer components, and advanced furnace panel devices. The induction coils are water-cooled, insulated with premium mica tape and double fiberglass tape wrapped around flat copper tubes, while the water jacket is crafted from high-grade 3mm 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel plates, ensuring reliability and durability.

The water cooling system is meticulously designed for peak performance, maintaining an inlet water pressure of no less than 0.4 MPa. During smelting, it ensures the inlet water temperature remains below 25°C, with an outlet temperature not exceeding 55°C. Regular water flow testing is crucial, and any reduction in flow should prompt immediate descaling to maintain optimal functionality.
