Structure and Components

Our induction furnace is a masterpiece of engineering, comprising crucial components such as the robust furnace shell, heat-resistant refractory lining, durable insulation and refractory bricks, sturdy iron core, precision-engineered induction coil, efficient water jacket, and an advanced power cabinet.

Working Principle

Harnessing the power of electromagnetic induction, this state-of-the-art furnace operates with a sophisticated principle: Upon the application of AC voltage, the induction coil produces a dynamic magnetic field. This field, in turn, induces a current within the core material, establishing a closed magnetic circuit, often utilizing high-quality silicon steel sheets like Z10. The resulting alternating magnetic flux generates crucial electromotive force within the melting channel, prompting secondary currents. As these currents traverse the metal raw material's resistance, electrical energy transforms into heat energy, achieving efficient metal melting.

Furnace Design and Features

Ingeniously designed, the melting and holding furnace includes a robust furnace body, a resilient furnace frame, and an advanced inductor, all supported by a sophisticated hydraulic system. The inductor's melting channel is horizontally arranged, while the furnace's dual hydraulic tilt mechanisms facilitate seamless and safe mold changes within the crystallizer, enhancing operational efficiency.

Constructed with precision, the furnace utilizes high-quality quartz sand and firebrick masonry. During assembly, meticulous alignment of the crystallizer ensures flawless positioning with the single-hole furnace mouth, thereby eliminating concerns of misalignment and furnace reconstruction.

Furnace Components and Water Cooling System

On the frontal section, the furnace features meticulously crafted door bricks, mouth bricks, and crystallizer components, complemented by furnace panel devices. The induction coils are ingeniously water-cooled, enveloped in a protective layer of mica tape and dual fiberglass tape, expertly wrapped around flat copper tubes. The water jacket, crafted from resilient 3mm 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel plates, ensures durability and reliability.

Ensuring peak performance, the water cooling system is designed to maintain optimal conditions, with inductor inlet water pressure at a minimum of 0.4 MPa. During smelting, it's vital that the inlet water temperature does not exceed 25°C and the outlet remains below 55°C. Regular water flow testing is crucial, and immediate action is required if flow diminishes below required levels to prevent scale accumulation and ensure uninterrupted operation.
