The Line-frequency induction copper melting furnace is a specialized device engineered for the efficient melting of bronze, brass, and various copper alloys. This furnace, when integrated with complementary machinery, culminates in a fully functional production line that adeptly manufactures copper rods, tubes, strips, and beyond. These premium-grade products find wide-ranging applications across pivotal industries such as electric wires, cables, electronics, secure lock manufacturing, water heating solutions, and advanced refrigeration systems.
The robust construction of the induction furnace comprises key elements including a durable furnace shell, advanced refractory lining, high-performance insulation bricks, sturdy refractory bricks, an efficient iron core, a precision-engineered induction coil, a resilient water jacket, and a state-of-the-art power cabinet.
The power frequency melting and holding furnace harnesses the transformative principle of electromagnetic induction. Upon the application of AC voltage, the induction coil emanates an alternating magnetic field. This dynamic field induces a current within the core material, forming a closed magnetic circuit (employing silicon steel sheets like Z10). The shifting magnetic flux triggers an electromotive force in the melting channel, generating secondary currents. These currents traverse the resistance of the metallic raw material, seamlessly converting electrical energy into heat energy, thereby efficiently melting the metal.
The melting and holding furnace showcases a meticulously designed furnace body, a robust furnace frame, an efficient inductor, a cutting-edge hydraulic system, amongst other vital components. Ingeniously, the melting channel within the inductor is horizontally aligned. The furnace is equipped with hydraulic tilt mechanisms on both sides, facilitating seamless and secure mold replacement within the crystallizer, ensuring operational ease and safety.
The entire furnace structure is a sophisticated amalgamation of premium quartz sand and expertly crafted firebrick masonry. During the meticulous assembly process, precise positioning of the crystallizer is paramount to achieving perfect alignment with a single-hole furnace mouth, thereby averting potential complications related to furnace rebuilding and misalignment.
The furnace's anterior is innovatively equipped with door bricks, mouth bricks, crystallizer components, and advanced furnace panel devices. Induction coils within the furnace are expertly water-cooled and insulated with a precision-crafted layer of mica tape and double fiberglass tape, meticulously wrapped around flat copper tubes. The water jacket boasts a construction from 3mm 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel plates, ensuring durability and efficiency.
The sophisticated water cooling system is crucial for optimal furnace operation, mandating that the inlet water pressure to the inductor remains at a minimum of 0.4 MPa. During smelting, it's vital that the inlet water temperature does not exceed 25°C and the outlet temperature remains below 55°C. Routine testing of water flow is imperative, and should the flow diminish below required levels, it necessitates immediate cleaning to remove any scale buildup.
