Introducing the Line-frequency induction copper melting furnace which is expertly engineered for the efficient melting of bronze, brass, and a diverse range of copper alloys. When seamlessly integrated with complementary machinery, it transforms into a comprehensive production line, manufacturing an array of copper products, such as rods, tubes, strips, and more. These innovations find essential applications across industries, including electric wires, cables, electronics, lock manufacturing, water heating equipment, and refrigeration, contributing significantly to industrial advancement.

Structure and Components

This advanced induction furnace boasts critical components, including a robust furnace shell, high-grade refractory lining, premium insulation bricks, refractory bricks, a solid iron core, a precision-engineered induction coil, a durable water jacket, and a sophisticated power cabinet, ensuring reliability and performance.

Working Principle

Our state-of-the-art power frequency melting and holding furnace leverages the cutting-edge principle of electromagnetic induction. When an AC voltage is applied, the induction coil generates a dynamic alternating magnetic field. This magnetic field induces an electrical current within the core material, forming an efficient closed magnetic circuit, typically using silicon steel sheets, like Z10. The resulting alternating magnetic flux generates an electromotive force in the melting channel, inducing secondary currents. These currents flow through the metal's resistance, transforming electrical energy into heat, thus effectively melting the metal with precision and efficiency.

Furnace Design and Features

Our meticulously crafted melting and holding furnace comprises the main furnace body, a stable furnace frame, a high-performance inductor, a reliable hydraulic system, and additional integral components. The horizontally designed melting channel inside the inductor optimizes performance. Furthermore, the furnace is equipped with hydraulic tilt mechanisms on both sides, ensuring easy, safe, and efficient mold replacement in the crystallizer, enhancing overall operational efficiency.

The entire furnace is skillfully constructed using a superior combination of quartz sand and firebrick masonry. During the meticulous assembly process, the crystallizer is precisely aligned with a single-hole furnace mouth, ensuring accurate positioning and eliminating issues related to furnace rebuilding and misalignment, thereby enhancing durability and efficiency.

Furnace Components and Water Cooling System

The front side of the furnace is expertly equipped with door bricks, mouth bricks, crystallizer components, and advanced furnace panel devices. The induction coils are water-cooled and wrapped with a layer of high-grade mica tape and double fiberglass tape around flat copper tubes for added insulation. The water jacket is crafted from 3mm 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel plates, ensuring corrosion resistance and longevity.

The water cooling system is ingeniously designed to guarantee optimal furnace operation, with the inlet water pressure to the inductor maintained at no less than 0.4 MPa. To ensure efficiency during the smelting process, the inlet water temperature should be kept below 25°C, and the outlet temperature should remain below 55°C. Regular testing of water flow is crucial, and any reduction below the required level necessitates the removal of scale buildup to maintain peak performance.
