This state-of-the-art induction furnace is meticulously crafted, comprising a robust furnace shell, high-performance refractory lining material, efficient insulation and refractory bricks, a precision-engineered iron core, and a powerful induction coil. Additionally, it features a sophisticated water jacket and a cutting-edge power cabinet, all designed to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
The operation of the power frequency melting holding furnace is rooted in the principle of electromagnetic induction. Upon the application of AC voltage, the induction coil generates an alternating magnetic flux that flows through the magnetic drift diameter core, forming a closed magnetic circuit (silicon steel sheet: Z10). This induces an electromotive force and a secondary current in the melting groove. The current, encountering resistance from the metal raw material, transforms electrical energy into heat, effectively melting the metal within the channel. The melting and holding furnace is an intricate assembly of the furnace body, frame, inductor, and hydraulic system. Its melting furnace inductor features a horizontal molten channel, complemented by hydraulic backward tilt mechanisms on both sides for rapid and safe mold replacement in the crystallizer. Constructed with precision from quartz sand and firebrick, the furnace ensures accurate center positioning of the crystallizer with the single hole furnace mouth installation. This meticulous construction avoids inaccuracies and defects in furnace rebuilding and center finding. The furnace's front is a composite of door brick, mouth brick, crystallizer component, and panel device, all contributing to its superior performance. The induction furnace employs water-cooled inductors, insulated at the core. The water cooling device requires an inlet water pressure of no less than 0.4mpa, with strict monitoring of inlet and outlet water temperatures, maintained below 25ºC and 55ºC, respectively. Regular flow tests are imperative to prevent scale build-up. The induction coil comprises mica tape and double fiberglass tape wrapped flat copper tube, and its efficient water jacket is constructed from resilient 3mm1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel plate, ensuring durability and high performance.
